Konokimi-Tei is an Omotesenke tea school. In addition to conducting tea ceremonies and tea parties, we also offer traditional Japanese multi-course cuisine.
Our quiet location, surrounded by greenery, allows visitors to relax as they enjoy our tea and cuisine.
In addition, the Tetsu Okada Picture Gallery, housed in the same location, allows visitors to peruse exhibits of various works in addition to tea ceremony implements used at and held by the tea school as well as other items.
More than just a simple sightseeing destination, this hall is our home and our place of living. We hope you will find yourself at home in the peaceful atmosphere, enjoying the artwork of the father, Tetsu Okada, who long served as representative of the “Bijutsu Bunka Art Association,” as well as our considerable collection of tea ceremony implements.
